- The access to the Portico from the Cathedral during the liturgic ceremony is not wheelchair accessible. See schedules.
- Access with animals is not allowed, except for guide dogs.
- Access with bags, backpacks, suitcases, umbrellas and pilgrim’s staffs to the interior of Portico of the Glory, Gelmírez’s Palace and Permanent collection will be denied..
- You must arrive to the tickets office 10 minutes before the time of the visit.
- If you have a ticket to the Cathedral’s Museum or to the Carraca’s Tower, the visit to the Museum of Santa María La Real de Sar is free, presenting this ticket.
You can visit the Permanent collection and Gelmírez’s Palace at any time of the day during open hours of the same or the next day, regardless of the time you have reserved for the visit to the Portico of Glory. The time of access to the Portico of Glory marked on the entrance ticket is approximate and could suffer certain variations depending on its capacity.
This visit is not recommended for minors of 10 years old. Children should be accompanied by their parents or tutors, who will be responsible for their acts at all times. Beware visitors of old age and health issues that this is a visit through the interior stairs of the tower which include 140 steps, walking through stepped decks and a lookout of more than 50 meters high.
